Salary arbitration is a process that involves in-depth analysis of past and present Major League players who compare similarly to the respective KVA clients by way of Major League service time, usage and statistics. These “comps” help us determine a reasonable and actual fair market value for that player’s services. Although most arbitration cases settle prior to an actual hearing, KVA has attorneys on staff who will present the case to an arbitration panel, if necessary.
